The cases of corona infection are increasing continuously in the capital amid the threat of Omicron. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on Saturday that about 20,000 new cases will be reported in Delhi today. Jain said that the positivity rate will also increase by 1-2%. 20 people died in the first 6 days
In the first six days of January in Delhi, 20 people have died due to corona virus infection. This information has been given in the official figures. According to the data, eight of these people died on January 5. These deaths have come amid a rise in COVID cases largely due to the oomycron nature.

Weekend Curfew for 55 hours
Delhiites will remain in their homes for two days as the 55-hour weekend curfew has begun at 10 pm on Friday. Officials said that adequate arrangements have been made to enforce curfew in Delhi to contain the spread of coronavirus. The movement of people, except those involved in essential services and those falling under exempted categories, will be restricted for 55 hours during the weekend curfew.
