PM Modi’s big announcement on the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh – now Veer Children’s Day will be celebrated every year on 26th December

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement on the occasion of the birth anniversary of 10th Guru Gobind Singh (10th Guru of the Sikhs). He has said that now every year on 26th December, Veer Bal Diwas will be celebrated. Announcing this, the PM said, ‘On the auspicious occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji, I am proud to inform that from this year, 26th December will be celebrated as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’.
Guru Gobind Singh sacrificed his family to protect Dharma. His four sons were martyred for the protection of religion. Let us tell that two sons of Guru Gobind Singh were martyred on 26 December 1704 at the age of 9 and 6 years. The PM tweeted and wrote, ‘Veer Bal Diwas will be held on the same day Sahibzada Zorawar Singh ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh ji were martyred. Both these great men gave priority to death rather than deviate from the great principles of religion.

PM Modi further wrote, ‘The valor and ideals of Mata Gujri, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji and 4 Sahibzadas give strength to millions of people. He never bowed before injustice. He envisioned a world that was inclusive and harmonious. The need of the hour is that more and more people should know about them.
