On getting information, the girl’s mother lodged a complaint with the police against the accused. Civil Lines Police has registered a case. A woman resident of Harthala Chowki area of Police Station Civil Lines told that her husband had died seven years ago. The woman has a daughter and son by him. She got married a few days after her husband’s death. According to the woman, she works in people’s homes. The husband lived at home with the children. On December 1, he asked the landlady to vacate the room, then she advised that you should not take a separate house anywhere. When she asked the reason, the landlady told that your husband’s habit is not good. He also said that if you do not believe me, then ask your daughter.

After this, when the woman questioned the daughter, it was found that her husband was raping her daughter for the last two years. The daughter is 12 years old and her stepfather was making her a victim of his lust. The woman says that the husband had threatened the daughter that if she complained to anyone, he would kill her and also kill her mother. After which the daughter got scared and did not inform anyone about the rape and she continued to suffer the oppression of her stepfather.
At the same time, when the woman came to know about the rape of the daughter, she was shocked and filed a report in this matter with the Civil Lines Police Station. Police say that on the basis of the complaint of the woman, a case of rape, intimidation and POCSO Act has been registered against the accused. The accused is absconding and search is on for him.
