Corona havoc on Delhi Police, 1000 policemen including PRO, ACP infected

The havoc of Corona in the national capital is now wreaking havoc on the police department as well. According to the report on Sunday evening, about 1000 personnel of Delhi Police have been found infected in the third wave of Corona. Delhi Police gave this information in a statement.
According to an official statement of Delhi Police, among these infected are Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Delhi Police and Additional Commissioner of Police Chinmay Biswal.
Around 1000 Delhi Police personnel, including Public Relations Officer and Additional Commissioner Chinmoy Biswal have tested positive for COVID19. All infected personnel are under quarantine: Delhi Police

22,751 infected found on Sunday
On Sunday, the Health Department has informed that in the investigation of 96,678 samples, 23.53 percent samples have been found corona infected. During this, 22,751 people have been found corona infected. At the same time, 10,179 patients have also been discharged, but in the meantime 17 patients have died. Earlier on June 14, 16 patients died in a single day.
The total number of infected patients in Delhi has increased to 15,49,730 out of which 14,63,837 patients have also been cured but 25160 patients died. At present, 60,733 corona infected patients are under treatment in Delhi. Of these, 35,714 patients are in isolation at their respective homes. While 650 patients have been kept in COVID Surveillance Health Centers. Apart from these, 1,618 patients are admitted in hospitals.
310 patients are being treated in ICU
The department said that 440 corona patients admitted in hospitals are being treated for oxygen. At the same time, due to the serious condition of 310 patients, they have been kept in ICU. Apart from these, the condition of 44 corona infected patients is very serious, due to which they have been given ventilator support. The number of patients in hospitals is also increasing every day. Along with this, their number is also increasing on oxygen therapy, ICU and ventilator.
