Displeasure among advocates on closure of physical hearing in Allahabad High Court, Bar officials met Chief Justice

Advocates have expressed their displeasure against the physical hearing in the Allahabad High Court which began on January 10. The protest was held in front of the High Court gate. Some advocates also sat on dharna. Advocates are demanding that the physical hearing should also be continued. The office bearers of the High Court Bar Association also met Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal regarding this matter.

In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Allahabad High Court committee has decided to conduct only virtual hearings from January 19 i.e. Monday. For this, he has also issued a guideline. As soon as the court opened on Monday morning, advocates were denied access to the court premises. Along with this, the road in front of gate number three was completely blocked.

Some advocates sat on a dharna on the road against this decision of the High Court and the demonstration was started. In view of the opposition of the advocates, permission was given to go on the road leading to gate number three, but permission was not given to go inside. Advocates gathered at gate number three and raised slogans against the High Court administration. During this, Radhkant Ojha, the President of the High Court Bar Association, recounted his problems.

On the other hand, in view of the protest by the advocates, a meeting of the High Court Administration Committee has been called. The problems of the advocates are being discussed in the meeting.
