On the lines of UP, demand for women leaders in Uttarakhand Congress, respect for giving tickets, 14 women leaders asked for tickets

Mahila Congress has increased the difficulties of Congress ahead of Uttarakhand assembly elections. Mahila Congress has claimed many seats in the state and has asked to implement the formula of giving 40 percent tickets to women in the state. Uttarakhand Mahila Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has advocated for implementing the ‘Girl Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon’ campaign in the state as well, although the Congress leaders do not want to implement the UP formula in Uttarakhand.
Actually many women leaders in the state are asking for tickets for the assembly elections. Congress has announced 40 percent tickets for women in UP and women leaders of Uttarakhand Congress are demanding to implement this formula in the state. While three seats in Haridwar are being claimed by the National General Secretary of Mahila Congress and former CM Harish Rawat’s daughter Anupama Rawat, Anupama has demanded ticket for one seat of Laksar, Khanpur and Haridwar Rural in the district. The party had made it clear two days ago that the party will implement the one family one ticket formula in the state. After this, the leaders who are seeking tickets for their sons, daughters and relatives, their problems have increased.
Many women leaders in the queue for tickets
Along with Anupama Rawat, Mahila Congress President Sarita Arya has also demanded a ticket from Nainital. While the daughter-in-law of Sarojini Kantura, former chairperson of the Women’s Commission and Ruchi Cantura, the head of Dugadda block, have also claimed the ticket. According to Sarita, on the lines of UP, women in Uttarakhand are demanding 40 percent tickets from the party high command and so far 31 women’s names have been submitted for 70 seats in the state.

Along with Anupama Rawat, the Mahila Congress has given the party high command for Rajpur seat Vyjayanthimala alias Kamlesh Raman, Sahaspur-Najma Khan, Ranipur-Vimla Pandey, Roorkee-Rashmi Chaudhary, Pithoragarh-Anju Lunthi, Lohaghat-Nirmala Gahatodi, Gadarpur-Reena Kapoor, The name of Sandhya Dalakoti has been sent to Rudrapur-Meena Sharma and Lalkuan seat and these leaders are claiming the seats. Along with this, the names of Jyoti Rautela and Ranjana Rawat have also been given on Lansdowne seat.
Sarita Arya’s maths messed up due to Sanjeev Arya
For the assembly elections, Mahila Congress President Sarita Arya is asking for a ticket for herself and her math has gone wrong in the Nainital seat. In fact, former cabinet minister Yashpal Arya and his son Sanjeev Arya have returned to the Congress and Sanjeev is the MLA from the seat from where Sarita is seeking ticket and is strong due to being a sitting MLA. After which the claim of Sarita Arya has become weak.
