Important meeting of PM Modi with the Chief Ministers of all the states, said- we will definitely win the battle of Corona
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an important meeting on Thursday amid increasing cases of corona in the country. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of almost all states were present in the meeting with PM Modi. Discussions were held on basic health facilities. Apart from this, there was also discussion on increasing the restrictions to overcome the increasing pace of corona.

During this, Prime Minister Modi said that India’s fight against the biggest epidemic of hundred years has now entered its third year. Hard work is our only path and victory is the only option. We 130 crore Indians will surely emerge victorious from Corona with our efforts. He said that the earlier skepticism about Omicron is now gradually clearing.
He said that Omicron is spreading faster than the previous variant, it is more transmissible. Our health experts are assessing the situation. Obviously we have to be careful. Referring to vaccination, he said that today India has given the first dose of Kovid vaccine to about 92 percent of the adult population. The country has also reached around 70 percent in the coverage of the second dose. Within 10 days, India has also vaccinated about 30 million adolescents.
He said that today the states have sufficient amount of vaccine. The sooner the ‘precaution dose’ is administered to frontline workers and senior citizens, the greater the capacity of our health care system. We have to intensify the Har Ghar Dastak campaign for 100% vaccination. We need to counter the rumors about vaccination, like – even after vaccination, we are in the grip of corona, then what is the use of it…

He said that the Rs 23,000 crore package allocated by the Center to the states has been well utilised. Many states have strengthened their health infrastructure. needs to be followed.
