Record made of Corona positive in one day, 28867 new cases in Delhi

Corona bomb has exploded in Delhi on Thursday as well and 28867 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The infection rate in Delhi is 19.21 percent while 31 people have died due to this epidemic.
Delhi has broken the previous record in terms of infected cases. This is the highest number of cases in any single day so far. Earlier on April 20, 28,395 cases were reported. The positivity rate in Delhi has increased to 29.21 percent. The infection rate is at its highest level since May 3. On May 3, the infection rate was 29.55 percent.
The number of active corona patients in the capital has reached 94,160, which is the highest in the last 8 and a half months. This havoc of Corona has killed 31 people in the last 24 hours. So far 25,271 people have died of corona in Delhi.
At present 62,324 patients are in home isolation in Delhi. The rate of active corona patients is 5.71 percent while the recovery rate is 92.74 percent. In the last 24 hours, 22,121 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals. The number of cured patients has reached 15,27,152.
On the other hand, if we talk about corona testing in Delhi, then 98,832 tests have been done in 24 hours. The total number of tests has reached 3,38,47,240. The number of Containment Zones in Delhi is 23,997 while the death rate of Corona is 1.53 percent.
Experts estimate that during the peak season in Delhi, 35 to 70 thousand cases can be reported in a day.
Officials say that if 1 lakh cases come every day, then 28 thousand oxygen beds and 18 thousand ICU beds will be needed. Let us tell you that now the number of people getting infected daily has exceeded 28 thousand.
Regarding the increasing cases of corona in Delhi, Health Minister Satyendar Jain says that the rate of admission of patients is very low right now.
Satyendra Jain says that even after 27 thousand cases were reported, the rate of hospitalization patients is the same as it was when 10 thousand cases were reported.

The number of hospitalized patients is also increasing rapidly due to the increasing corona cases around the world. At present, more than 1.5 lakh patients are admitted in America itself.
