Uttar Pradesh / Jhansi : Hotel businessman’s body found under suspicious circumstances on railway track, son accused of murder

The body of hotelier Pradeep Sahu (57) was found under suspicious circumstances in the railway track near Pal Colony on Friday afternoon. He was having a dispute with his brothers over a property worth crores. On receiving information about his death, the family members ransacked the disputed establishment. The eldest son Abhishek has expressed the apprehension of the father being murdered. Police has sent the body for Panchnama.

According to Abhishek, his father had breakfast with everyone in the morning as usual. At around 10 o’clock, he left the house saying that he would leave for an important work. At around one o’clock in the afternoon, the police informed that his body was recovered from near Pal Colony. The family members also reached there after hearing about the incident. His motorcycle was lying some distance away from the railway track. His mobile phone was also recovered from near the dead body.

Family ransacked
Police took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. As soon as the information of Pradeep’s death reached his house, wife Indra lost her cool. Weeping, she reached the Midway Palace, located a little from the house. Here they started sabotaging. The glass outside was broken. Decorative items placed outside were also knocked down. By then other women of the family also reached there. He took care of them somehow. The commotion went on for about half an hour here. Wife Indra sat there with all the women. On getting information about the uproar, Sipri Bazar police has also reached the spot.
