In the press conference, Virat further said about the same thing, ‘It would not be right to say that we had gone too far. Had we taken 3 wickets after that, it would probably have been a game changing moment for everyone.

The team also behaved badly

Apart from Indian captain Virat Kohli, Indian team’s off-spinners Ravichandran Ashwin, KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal also expressed their anger by visiting the stump mic. Ashwin accused Super Sport, which was broadcasting the series, and said, “You find better ways to win.”

Many former players of Team India have strongly criticized this behavior of Indian captain Virat and other players. Former opening batsman Gautam Gambhir has called this whole incident a childish act.

After the Cape Town Test, the match official has also warned the Indian team members that there should be no such behavior in the future. The Indian team will start the ODI series from January 19. The first ODI will be played in Paarl from January 19.
