Relief to Team India, Africa gave rest to the hero of the Test series in ODIs

South Africa have rested Kagiso Rabada ahead of the ODI series starting January 19 in Paarl. This decision of the South African team management has been taken just before the first ODI match to be played at Boland Park in Paarl. Rabada, who performed brilliantly in the Test series for South Africa, has been rested due to workload management.
South Africa has to tour New Zealand after the ODI series against India, in view of this series, the South African team management has decided to rest Rabada. In a statement issued by the South African board, it has also been informed that no other player has been considered in place of fast bowler Kagiso Rabada.
The Test series against South Africa and New Zealand is to start from February 17. Kagiso Rabada took 20 wickets in 3 Tests in the Test series against India. Apart from Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Marco Yansen and Dwayne Oliver together had troubled the Indian batsmen in the Test series.
For the Indian team, it is a matter of relief for Rabada not to play in the ODI series. In the Test format, Team India was troubled by Rabada with his pace and short ball. The Indian team won the 6-match ODI series 5-1 on the 2018 tour.
It is becoming a golden opportunity for the Indian team to repeat this history once again. Rabada has performed brilliantly for South Africa in Test as well as in ODI format. Rabada has taken 126 wickets in 82 ODIs.
Team India has to play the first 2 ODIs at Boland Park in Paarl and 1 match at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. Under the captaincy of KL Rahul, Team India will go down to win their second consecutive ODI series in this country.
