Uttarakhand : Former CDS Bipin Rawat’s brother Vijay Rawat joins BJP

Col Vijay Rawat (Retd), younger brother of late CDS General Bipin Rawat, joined BJP in Delhi. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami got the membership. Rawat said that I will serve the people of Uttarakhand. He joined the BJP in the presence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, State BJP President Madan Kaushik and Rajya Sabha member Anil Baluni at the BJP headquarters in the capital. Vijay Rawat said on the occasion that the working style of BJP is very sweet and it is the only party which really wants to do good for the country. He said, “The thinking of the BJP is also very good.”
There was speculation that Vijay Rawat might join the Bharatiya Janata Party after Rawat met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. While meeting the CM of Uttarakhand, Vijay Rawat said that I like the vision of CM of Uttarakhand for the state. It matches what my brother had in mind. BJP has the same mentality.

Speaking to reporters after joining the party, Col Rawat said he admires PM Narendra Modi’s ‘intelligent and futuristic vision’. Colonel Vijay Rawat said, “I am grateful that I got a chance to join BJP. My father was with BJP after retirement and now I have got a chance. The vision and thinking of PM Modi is very intelligent and futuristic.”
