Uttarakhand : Former CM Trivendra Rawat will not contest elections

Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat will not contest the assembly elections. He has expressed this desire by writing a letter to BJP National President JP Nadda. He said that I want to work for the formation of the BJP government under the leadership of Dhami. In a letter to JP Nadda, he also expressed his gratitude for giving him the opportunity to serve as the Chief Minister. He also said that the youth led government is doing good work in the state. He said, in the changed political circumstances, I should not contest elections. Therefore my request may be accepted.

Trivendra Singh Rawat wrote in the letter that the Manyawar Party gave me an opportunity to serve as the Chief Minister of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, it was my great fortune. I also tried to serve the people of the state with holiness and to affirm the concept of balanced development of the party.

I and the people of the state got the full support and blessings of the Prime Minister, which was unprecedented. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. The debt of the people of Uttarakhand and especially the residents of Doiwala Vidhan Sabha can never be repaid, I also thank them with gratitude. The party will continue to get the blessings of the residents of Doiwal assembly. It is my belief.
