To understand this, scientists from ETH and the Carnegie Institution for Science based in Zurich, Switzerland, did an experiment in the laboratory. He applied extreme pressure and heat to a mineral named bridgemanite. This mineral is found in the layer between the core and the mantle. After this he studied the thermal conductivity of bridgmanite. So that we can understand the increasing coolness in the center of the earth. The results came astonishing.

ETH professor Motohiko Murakami said that we saw that the thermal conductivity of bridgmanite was 1.5 times higher than expected. This study by Motohiko and his colleagues has recently been published in the journal Earth and Planetary Science Letters. Motohiko said that from this study we came to know that now we should study again about the origin of the earth. Its layers should be explored. Because the earth is getting cold and its effect is on those waves, which come out of the earth.

Motohiko Murakami told that if the earth continues to cool in this way, then it will become a rocky planet like Mercury and Mars. Which would be a dangerous situation. However, Motohiko and his companions are unable to tell in how many years the Earth will become like Mars. But if it happens, it will be a different kind of catastrophe. The magnetic force will end. Gravity will be gone. The atmosphere will end. Human bodies will start flowing in space.

A few months ago a study came, in which it was said that the center of the earth, ie the inner core, is shifting to one side.
