There will be heavy rain in these states in the next two days, IMD also predicted thunderstorm and hailstorm

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted rain in Najibabad, Barsana, Nandgaon, Mathura in Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas of Deeg, Bayana in Rajasthan during the next two days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of snowfall with scattered rains over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next two days and will increase thereafter.
According to the Meteorological Department, widespread rain and snow may occur in these states on January 22 and 23. Isolated rain is very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on 20th and 21st and thereafter will increase with widespread to widespread rain on 22nd and 23rd January.

On January 22, rain may occur over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, North Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
There is a possibility of rain in Bihar on 22nd and 23rd and Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal on 23rd January 2022. Strong winds (20-30 kmph) very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh on January 21 and 22, 2022.
Due to the activation of the new Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in many areas of Rajasthan in the next one or two days. From the night of January 21, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershowers in the districts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur, Kota and Bharatpur divisions.
On January 22, thunderstorm may occur at many places in Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Karauli, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Bikaner, Churu, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Nagaur, Jodhpur and Pali districts. At the same time, hailstorm may occur at isolated places in Jaipur, Alwar, Sikar and Churu districts.
