It is being told that consensus has been reached regarding the selection of candidates for most of the seats. The Screening Committee constituted for the selection of candidates, after interviewing the candidates one by one for all the 70 seats, has submitted its report to the Central Election Committee. After the meeting of the Central Election Committee today, candidates will be declared for more than 60 seats. The names of Congress State President Ganesh Godiyal and former Chief Minister Harish Rawat have also been told to be included in the first list.
