The IPL Governing Council had told recently that the players’ mega auction for IPL 2022 will be held on February 12 and 13. This time the title sponsor of IPL will be ‘Tata’ group. This time more than 1200 players have registered for the auction, including more than 300 foreign players. According to the Governing Council, about 217 players will be bought for the next season, of which 70 will be overseas players.

The next season of IPL is going to be special in many ways, as 10 teams will participate in it. The teams of Lucknow and Ahmedabad will join the IPL. The last season of IPL was very exciting.
