Terrorists who blasted bombs in Pathankot, Punjab were hiding in Uttarakhand, four accused were arrested for giving shelter

Four accused have been arrested from Udhamsinghnagar in connection with giving shelter to the terrorist conspirators of the Pathankot bomb blasts in Punjab. SSP Barinderjit Singh gave information in this regard by holding a press conference. The SSP said that the work was being done by the Uttarakhand STF under the guidance of Director General of Police Ashok Kumar on confidential inputs regarding the incidents of terrorist blasts in Nawanshahr, Pathankot and Ludhiana etc. Acting on which various teams of STF arrested four people under the police station Pantnagar area yesterday, by whom the terrorist conspirator of Pathankot Nawanshahr Ludhiana blast Sukhpreet alias Sukh was being given shelter in Udham Singh Nagar district.
It is to be known that in November 2021, there were incidents of bomb blasts in Pathankot and Nawanshahr and Ludhiana in Punjab, in which six people were arrested earlier by the Punjab Police. STF had received confidential information about one accused Sukhpreet alias Sukh hiding in Uttarakhand, on which various teams of STF were working continuously for the last three days and were engaged in analyzing the CCTV footage and making information confidential. After solid information, Shamsher Singh alias Shera alias Sabi and his brothers Harpreet Singh alias Happy, Ajmer Singh alias Ladi Mand and Gurpal Singh alias Gurri Dhillon have been arrested. Out of the four arrested, a 32 bore pistol has been recovered from the possession of Shamsher alias Shera and the car Ford Figo used by them in this crime has also been recovered. By whom the above car was being used to take Sukhpreet alias Sukh, accused of terrorist bomb blasts in Punjab and to bring them to their homes. The four arrested persons were connected through internet/whatsup calls from Canada, Australia, Serbia and which were being operated from abroad through these same online calls. The absconding accused Sukhpreet alias Sukh has also been confirmed to be in contact with international calls. Terrorist Sukhpreet alias Sukhi was found sheltering and helping in his house against the four arrested persons. A case was registered against him.
The absconding terrorist Sukhpreet alias Sukh and the above arrested accused Arsh, a resident of Canada, who is associated with Khalistan Tiger Force, were in contact through internet / WhatsApp calling. These people have been confirmed to be operated by Arsh only. The information received from the accused is being shared with various national agencies and state police and other information has been kept confidential keeping in view the national interest.
