Amidst the rising corona in UP, all schools and colleges have now been closed till 30 January. Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi has issued an order in this regard. According to the order issued by Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Kumar Awasthi on Saturday, online education will continue in the schools of the state. Earlier, in view of the serious situation of Corona, the state government had issued an order on 16 January to keep all educational institutions including schools and colleges closed till 23 January.
Taking stock of the situation on the basis of the reports received from all the districts in the meeting held on Saturday to review the corona infection in the state, it was decided to keep the educational institutions closed. Awasthi made it clear that during this period online education would continue in educational institutions so that the studies of the students would not be affected.
