Uttar Pradesh : BSP released the names of 51 candidates, 21 candidates Muslim
Amidst the preparations for the UP assembly elections, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has released the list of 51 candidates for the second phase of elections. During this, former CM Mayawati said that, this time our election slogan will be ‘Har polling booth ko jeetana hai, BSP has to be brought to power’.
21 Muslims got BSP ticket
In the list of 51 names released by BSP for the UP assembly elections, 3 women have been given tickets. At the same time, the party has fielded 21 Muslim faces. Along with this, tickets have also been given to a Brahmin, a Yadav and a Vaishya.
Names of candidates of Bijnor district
Shahnawaz Alam from Najibabad assembly of Bijnor district, Brajpal Singh from Nagina, Mohammad Ghazi from Badhapur, Kamal Ahmed from Dhampur, Priya Singh from Nahtaur, Dr Shakeel Hashmi from Ruchiveera Chandpur from Bijnor, Haji Ziauddin Ansari from Noorpur have been made candidates.
Candidate from the assembly seat of Saharanpur district
Mayawati has fielded Rais Malik and Sahil Khan from Nakud, Manish Arora from Saharanpur Nagar, Saharanpur (General) Ajab Singh from Behat assembly of Saharanpur district. The name of Noman Masood from Gangoh is included.
Candidates from the assembly seats of Moradabad district
Afaq Ali Khan from Kanth assembly of Moradabad district, Mujahid Ali from Thakurdwar, Aqeel Choudhary from Moradabad Dehat, Irshad Hussain Saifi from Moradabad Nagar, Haji Chandbabu Malik from Kundarki and Anil Kumar Chaudhary from Bilari have been made candidates.
Appeal to follow Corona guideline
BSP supremo Mayawati has appealed to the workers to follow the Kovid guidelines regarding the elections being held in the midst of the third wave of Corona. Also said that in 2022, work hard for the BSP government. Earlier on January 19, Bahujan Samaj Party declared candidates for 12 seats in the first phase. This includes the seats of Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Agra, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh and Mathura.
In the first phase of BSP list, Zaheer Malik from Thana Bhawan seat of Shamli, Kartar Singh Bhadana from Khatauli seat of Muzaffarnagar, Mohammad Dilshad from Meerut city, Arun Kasana from Baghpat, Ajit Kumar Pal from Sahibabad seat of Ghaziabad, Krishan Kumar Shukla alias from Ghaziabad KK Shukla and Madan Chauhan have been given tickets from Garhmukteshwar seat of Hapur.
