America bans 44 flights to China

The United States has canceled 44 flights from the US to China following Beijing’s action. US officials gave this information on Friday. The US has taken this action citing the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19). Let us tell you that recently, China had banned the entry of flights of these companies into China after some passengers of America’s Delta Airlines, United Airlines and American Airlines were found to be corona infected. The US had termed this move of China as unfair.

On Friday, an order was issued by the US to cancel flights to China. After this order of America, the old dispute between the two countries has increased further. China has called the decision taken by America against the public interest. Under the US order, 44 flights of Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Xiamen Airlines will be canceled between January 30 and March 29.

China told unfair
After the action, China-based Global Times, citing officials and experts, said that this move of America is unfair. The action by the US will have a huge impact on the already tight flight supplies between the two countries.

China also suspended flights
It is important to note that since December 31, Chinese authorities have suspended 20 United Airlines, 10 American Airlines and 14 Delta Air Lines flights after some passengers tested positive.

The Chinese capital has already suspended thousands of flights amid a surge in coronavirus cases. Chinese authorities have adopted a strict “zero-Covid” approach, with tight border restrictions and lockdowns.
