Uttarakhand : BJP, CONG, AAP Women’s Candidacy “Clean”?

After all, after a lot of hard work, the Congress has released its first list for Uttarakhand. For about ten days, the leaders of the state unit held a meeting with the central leadership in Delhi and after the intervention of the Congress high command, the Congress released the list of its candidates in Uttarakhand. At the same time, the party has not given tickets to Anupama Rawat, daughter of Harish Rawat and Anukreethy, daughter-in-law of Harak Singh Rawat. It is being told that both of them can be given tickets in the next list. The name of Harish Rawat, the biggest leader of the state Congress and Harak Singh Rawat, who recently joined the Congress, is also not included in this list.
Experts believe that this list has disappointed the women contenders. The surprising thing is that the Congress, which claims to give tickets to 40 percent women in Uttar Pradesh, has refrained from implementing this formula in Uttarakhand and Out of 53 seats, only 3 women have been given tickets. Which Congress women leaders are opposing. Whereas BJP has fielded 6 women candidates out of its 59 candidates. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party, which has announced to give 1000 rupees after the formation of the government in honor of women, has given tickets to only 3 women out of 51 candidates.
Candidates of BJP, Cong, AAP
- BJP declared 59 candidates, BJP’s female candidate 6
- Congress declared 51 candidates, Congress Female Candidates 3
- “AAP” declared 51 candidates, AAP’s women candidates 3
At the same time, the damage control plan prepared by the Bharatiya Janata Party to stop the rebellion in the 2022 assembly elections seems to be ineffective. Angry claimants are openly revolting due to non-receipt of ticket, while the party organization has not been able to convince any claimant so far. After the first list of the party, the contenders are not only openly objecting to ticket distribution, but many have even made preparations to enter the election fray. It is being told that many claimants are not even picking up the phone calls to the top office bearers of the party, due to which the party’s trouble may increase. At the same time, the damage control plan of the party also seems to be falling apart. However, the party officials are not ready to say anything in this regard.
After the release of the first list of candidates for the assembly elections, two bouncers posted in the party’s state office are getting a lot of discussion amid growing displeasure in the BJP. There is a lot of discussion about the deployment of these bouncers. On Saturday, there were many discussions between social media and party leaders regarding the bouncers posted in the party office. On the other hand, regarding the bouncers, the Congress says that BJP does not trust the police administration, so bouncers have been deployed, while regarding the women candidates, the Congress says that we should not give up hope, candidates are yet to be declared on 17 seats. BJP is raising questions on only 3 women candidates declared in the Congress list.
