‘Voters are getting confused’
Patel has said in the letter that since the announcement of the dates for the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, many channels are showing opinion polls, which is confusing voters and affecting the election. This act is a clear violation of the model code of conduct.
Opinion polls should be banned
Patel has demanded that the opinion polls being shown by news channels should be stopped with immediate effect to conduct free, fair, fearless elections.
