Uttarakhand : BJP’s offer to the daughters of late CDS General Bipin Rawat – said to contest elections from Dehradun

Before the Uttarakhand assembly elections, where the Congress was churning about Harak Singh whether he should be included in the party or not, the BJP has hit a big arrow. In fact, the BJP has sent a proposal to both the daughters of the late CDS General Bipin Rawat to contest the elections. Let us inform that in the Coonoor helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu in December last year, 11 associates including CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat were martyred.
Whereas before that. Colonel Vijay Rawat, brother of General Bipin Rawat, had joined BJP in Dehradun, but he is refusing to contest the elections. In such a situation, party sources are telling that BJP has now sent a proposal to contest the elections to the daughters of CDS General Bipin Rawat. According to party sources, the party wants to make one of the two daughters of General Rawat its candidate from a seat in Uttarakhand for the 2022 assembly elections, for which the consent of the daughters is awaited.
According to sources, if the daughters of late General Bipin Rawat agree, then she can contest from the BJP’s Doiwala or Kotdwar seat in Dehradun. BJP has not yet announced the names of its candidates for both these seats.
Let us tell you that on February 14, votes will be cast for the assembly elections in Uttarakhand. At the same time, the results of Uttarakhand will also come out on March 10 along with the rest of the states. There are total 81 lakh 43 thousand 922 voters in Uttarakhand, for whose votes BJP and Congress are the main rival parties in this election.
