Uttarakhand : Congress stuck on the screw of 17 seats, Kishor can get ticket from this assembly seat!
The Congress party has fixed 53 tickets in its first list, while 17 seats are still stuck. It is believed that these seats are caught in the battle for supremacy. The party is also waiting for the BJP to open its cards in Tehri, Doiwala, Lalakuan and Jhabreda. Apart from these, in Narendranagar, Dehradun Cantt, Rishikesh, Jwalapur (SC), Roorkee, Khanpur, Laksar, Haridwar Rural, Chaubatakhal, Lansdowne, Salt, Kaladhungi, Ramnagar seats, the party is resolving political maths afresh.
Congress may play bets on Omgopal
Narendranagar: In this seat, Congress can play bets on Omgopal Rawat, who was an independent last time. However, he has not joined the party yet. It is being told that the talks are in the final stages. In this regard, he has met other leaders of the party including former CM Harish Rawat. Om Gopal Rawat had lost this seat last time to BJP’s Subodh Uniyal. Congress candidate Himanshu Bijalvan came third. It is believed that considering his performance last time, the party can play bets on Omgopal.

Tehri: Former state president of the party, Kishore Upadhyay, was considered a strong contender for the ticket in this seat, but after the action taken against him due to anti-party activities, there is a cloud of doubt in this seat. Last time this seat was occupied by BJP’s Dhan Singh Negi, while here also the party’s candidate Narendra Chandra Ramola came third. The second number was occupied by independent Dinesh Dhanai. It is believed that the party can remove Kishor from this seat, giving him protection. Last time he tried his luck from Sahaspur, where he had to face defeat. The BJP has also not decided the ticket on this seat yet.

Dehradun Cantt: In this seat of Dehradun district, there is maximum ruckus regarding tickets. Names like Suryakant Dhasmana, Lalchand Sharma, Naveen Joshi, Vaibhav Walia, Virendra Pokhriyal are in front of this seat. BJP has fielded Savita Kapoor, wife of former MLA Harbans Kapoor, from this seat. In such a situation, it is believed that Congress can also play bets on any woman candidate in this seat. But who will be that face of the female candidate, there is still doubt on this.
