The apprehension of the officers has increased after four prisoners in the jail and six in the temporary jail were found corona infected. Due to the number of prisoners four times more than the capacity, the officers are also afraid that the number of infected prisoners may increase further. However, at present, there is a ban on mixing in prisons. Even after this, the corona infection reached the jail. The four prisoners who have been found corona infected have been quarantined in separate barracks. After this, no prisoner is being given direct entry into the barracks. The criminals being caught by the police are being sent directly from the court to the temporary jail in Pakbra. They are being admitted to the jail only after a negative report in seven to 14 days. Senior Jail Superintendent Dr. Viresh Raj Sharma said that all the prisoners have been vaccinated. At the same time, corona test is being done for all the prisoners in the barracks where prisoners have been found corona infected. All security related measures are being taken in the jail. To keep the prisoners safe from corona infection, other doses are also being applied to them.
Transfer of nine prisoners to different jails of the state
The prisoners who committed criminal incidents while sitting in the jail have been transferred from the jail administration. However, the prisoners who were transferred were shifted to different jails of the state before January 10. In September, a ration dealer was shot dead in Kafiabad village under Bhojpur police station area. In this case, the name of Ajit Chaudhary, the notorious crook of Bilari police station area, as well as the former head of Kafiabad, Ashish had come to the fore. While exposing this massacre, the police informed that the conspiracy was hatched by both the criminals sitting inside the jail. After this incident, a list was sent to the government to transfer suspected prisoners. However, after this incident, the conspirator Ajit Chaudhary was shifted to Rampur Jail, while the former head Ashish has been shifted to Meerut Jail. Along with this, seven more prisoners have been shifted to the jails of Unnao, Kanpur, Agra, Bareilly as well as other districts.
