Uttarakhand : BJP’s churning continues on 11 assembly seats, preparing to give ticket to Ritu Khanduri from Doiwala!

The BJP is also considering new contenders for several seats out of the 11 embattled assembly seats. Some new names are being sent by the state leadership to the central leadership. After the brainstorming, the candidates for these seats will be announced in a day or two. Election in-charge Prahlad Joshi held a meeting with the state leaders at the state BJP headquarters in Dehradun in which the candidates for 11 complicated seats including Doiwala, Kotdwar, Tehri were discussed.

Sources said that in seats like Doiwala and Kotdwar, some new candidates from outside the panel are also being considered. It is being told that after discussion at the state level, these names are being sent to Delhi. Where once again there will be brainstorming in the high level meeting and then the candidates will be announced in a day or two.

Along with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, MP Ajay Tamta, State Organization General Secretary and other General Secretaries were also present in the meeting. Discussion about rebels: Party sources said that after the announcement of candidates in many seats of the state, there is dissatisfaction. In such a situation, the party may have to face loss. In view of this problem, discussion was also held to persuade the rebels and angry leaders.

For the selection of candidates for the assembly elections, the panel had already been prepared by the party for all the seats. But according to the country and the situation, some seats are still being discussed. In this context, after discussion with the central leadership, the second list will also be released in a day or two.

Ritu Khanduri will get a ticket from Doiwala!

BJP is also considering the name of Ritu Khanduri for Doiwala and Kotdwar seats. It is being told that BJP will release the list of 11 candidates after taking the decision by Tuesday. BJP is yet to announce candidates for 11 assembly seats. Out of these, Doiwala and Kotdwar assembly seats have the most problems.

Sources said that Doiwala and Kotdwar were first discussed with Colonel Vijay Rawat, brother of former CDS General Bipin Rawat, but there is a lull over his contesting elections. After that the names of CDS General Rawat’s daughters were also discussed by the BJP. Sources say that now the party is discussing the name of Ritu Khanduri, the daughter of former Chief Minister Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri and MLA from Yamkeshwar for Kotdwar and Doiwala seats.
