In such a situation, people can get some relief from the cold due to clear weather and less clouds. However, according to the Meteorological Center, the weather pattern may remain disturbed for the next few days.

There is a possibility of very light rain and snowfall at isolated places in the mountainous areas. Light to moderate fog is possible over plains of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. Frost can also fall at some places in the mountainous areas. It has predicted cloudy sky in most of the capital Doon and adjoining areas.

On the sixth day in Mussoorie, the Queen of Hills, there was rain and hailstorm on Tuesday as well. There was light snowfall in the tourist destination Buranshkhanda in the morning. As a result, the flow of tourists continued. People reached Buranshkhanda and enjoyed the snow fiercely. At the same time, due to snowfall, there was a traffic jam at many places.

The city of Mussoorie received light sunshine on Tuesday morning, but in the afternoon the weather condition deteriorated and hailstorm started with light rain. It started raining heavily in the evening. Vipin Prakash, a tourist businessman of four shops, said that the hail could not stay on the ground for long. However, the winter season continues.

At the same time, it has been raining and snowing intermittently for the last four days in Buranshkhanda. Public life is disturbed by this. People’s day-to-day activities are affected. The snow has made it difficult to walk on many roads. Jaipal Singh Bhandari, a resident of Suvakholi, said that it has become difficult for vehicles to pass near Kotli.

There is a danger of the vehicles slipping because of the snow. Due to this there is frequent traffic jam between Suvakholi and Buranshkhanda. The problem of frequent power outages in the area continues. Thatyud police station chief Manish Negi said that there is a lot of snow between Suvakholi and Buranshkhanda. It is risky to move vehicles from here. JCB has been deployed to clear the snow.

Transport being disrupted due to closure of Yamunotri Highway at various places
Snowfall and rain are not taking the name of stopping in Yamunotri region, due to which the movement of Yamunotri Highway has come to a standstill due to the closure of the place. Due to rain and snowfall, there is a problem in smoothing the highway. Due to this, the villagers of a dozen villages of the Gaith belt adjoining the Yamunotri area have been imprisoned in their homes.

People have to walk eight-ten km in snow for essential items. Local residents Pyare Lal Uniyal and Chain Singh Rawat told that due to the closure of the highway, there is a lot of trouble, people are forced to carry goods in their shoulders.
