Congress leader Rahul Gandhi announced that Congress will contest elections in Punjab with the CM face. Congress had also contested the last election by declaring Captain Amarinder Singh as the CM face. However, this time Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu and current CM Charanjit Channi are staking claim on the CM face.
Rahul said that if Punjab wants to know, then Congress will announce the CM face in Punjab. He will talk to the party and workers about this. Rahul said that Navjot Sidhu and CM Charanjit Channi told me that whoever leads, the other will help him fully. This made me very happy. This announcement of the Congress is also being linked to the public opinion poll for the CM face of the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP also claimed to have declared Bhagwant Mann as the CM face by asking the public.
First Sidhu said – don’t make a visible horse, give it the power to take decisions
Addressing the rally, first Navjot Sidhu told Rahul Gandhi – the people of Punjab have 3 questions. He is asking who will get us out of this mud? The second question is how will he come out?, what agenda or roadmap does he have?. Sidhu asked the third biggest question regarding the CM face. Sidhu asked that Punjab wants to know who will be the CM face of Congress. If the answer is given, then the Congress government will be formed in Punjab with 70 seats. CM Channi also asked for 5 years by giving advice to Sidhu

CM Channi said that if the party likes his work, then give me full 5 years also. Rahul Gandhi lays his head at religious places in Amritsar
