In Palghar district of Maharashtra, the administrative system has been exposed. In a tribal village of Palghar district, a man had to take the body of his 6-year-old son home on a bike. According to the information, the person could not afford the ambulance, due to which he had to carry the dead body on the bike and take it home.

According to news agency ANI, the man had brought his 6-year-old son to the hospital on 24 January. The child had high fever due to which he was admitted to a private hospital but doctors asked to take the child to the government hospital. After which the father of the child first took him to Mokhda Government Hospital and then to Jawahar Rural Hospital. At the same time, on January 25, the child died during treatment. It is being told that the father of the child tried to arrange an ambulance in the hospital but he was not given any vehicle as he did not have money. The child’s father was forced to carry his son’s body on a bike.

Carrying the dead body on the bike40 km bike ride

It is being told that the man tied the body of a 6-year-old son to the bike and took it to his house 40 km away late at night. When media personnel spoke to District Health Officer Dr. Dayanand Suryavanshi on this whole matter, he said, usually ambulances are not used for dead bodies. At the same time, in this case the driver was not ready to take the dead child. He told that due to some incident earlier, the villagers had beaten up the ambulance driver, due to which he refused to take the dead body. The District Health Officer further told that, the drivers asked for money from the father of the child but they did not have it, due to which he was not taken. He said that the officials are still probing the matter.
