There will be heavy rain in these states till February 5, people will be upset due to cold now
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted more rain in West Bengal, Assam and other states in the next few days. Cold wave and cold day conditions are likely to end from tomorrow over Northwest and Central India. During 31 January to 2 February 2022, isolated light or moderate rain is very likely over Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland-Manipur, Mizoram-Tripura.
Isolated light rain and subsequent dry weather are very likely over Tamil Nadu-Puducherry-Karaikal and Kerala-Mahe during the next 2 days. There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad during the next 4 days and thereafter it will see an increase.
There is a possibility of surface winds (speed 15-25 kmph) over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh during next 3 days.
