Ban on exit polls in Uttarakhand

The Election Commission has also banned exit polls in Uttarakhand between February 10 and March 7. The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttarakhand has banned the publication of exit polls from 7 am on February 10 to 6.30 pm on March 7 as per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India. The election results will not be published in any way in print or electronic media during this period. Strict action will be taken against the violators.
