Uttar Pradesh : Congress released the fourth list of 61 candidates, fielded 24 women

Congress has released another list of 61 candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022. In this, the party has made 24 women candidates. Earlier, Congress had fielded 50 women in its first list of 125 candidates. At the same time, 37 women were found in the second list with 41 names, 16 and in the third list with 89 candidates.

In its fourth list, Congress has nominated 24 women including Rita Maurya from Ayodhya, Vinita Devi from Kannauj, Raj Kumari from Hamirpur and Hemlata Patel from Ayah Shah of Fatehpur. Out of this, seven seats reserved for SC are also included. Not only this, Congress has also changed two of its candidates in this list. Kuldeep Kumar Singh in place of Saroj Devi from Hathras and Vandana Bhargava in place of Abhinav Bhargava from Bijwasan.


When is the polling in UP?
This time in Uttar Pradesh, polling is to be held in seven phases. It will begin on February 10 with voting in 58 seats in 11 districts of western UP. After this, in the second phase, voting will be held in 55 seats of the state. At the same time, 59 seats will be voted in the third phase, 60 in the fourth phase, 60 seats in the fifth phase, 57 in the sixth phase and 54 seats in the seventh phase. After the first phase of polling on February 10, the second phase on February 14, the third phase on February 20, the fourth phase on February 23, the fifth phase on February 27, the sixth phase on March 3 and the seventh phase on March 7. At the same time, the results of UP elections will come on March 10.
