Uttar Pradesh : Akhilesh Yadav did nomination from Karhal, had sent a chariot to Hanuman’s door for a victorious journey

Samajwadi Party (SP) President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday filed his nomination from the Karhal assembly seat, with a resolve to fight an all-out battle with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the power of Uttar Pradesh. The Vijay chariot, which Akhilesh Yadav arrived from to leave for Mainpuri to file nomination for Karhal assembly seat from Saifai in his native village Etawah, was worshiped at the Hanuman temple. After this, Akhilesh reached the collectorate riding on this pink colored victory chariot.
Akhilesh was accorded a warm welcome from place to place at a distance of about 30 km from Saifai to Karhal. The SP president, riding on a pink colored Vijay Chariot, shook hands and greeted the public. Due to the crowd gathered on the roads amidst a convoy of hundreds of vehicles, Vijay Rath reached the Mainpuri Collectorate at around one o’clock. There were elaborate police arrangements to control the crowd.
Shobhan Singh, who contested on SP ticket from Karhal on Akhilesh’s victory chariot, rode. Apart from this, Tej Pratap, former MP and nephew of Akhilesh, also rode in Vijay’s chariot. The Vijay Rath was being driven by Akhilesh’s personal secretary Gajendra himself and he had offered prayers at Saifai’s famous Hanuman temple along with Vijay Rath before leaving Saifai.
Before leaving for the nomination of the SP President, his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav and other relatives and well-wishers blessed him and wished for the formation of a government with a thumping majority. Akhilesh, who was riding the Vijay chariot, however, said that he could not devote much time to Etawah and Mainpuri in view of the hectic schedule of the assembly elections. She has full confidence from the people of the area that she will allow them to go to other areas to form the government in the state. He said that the wave of SP is going on in the whole of Uttar Pradesh, which is determined to take the state on the path of development and prosperity.
Voting is to be held on February 20 in the third phase of elections in Karhal. Congress has fielded Gyanvati Yadav and BSP has fielded Kuldeep Narayan from this seat. However, the name of the BJP candidate for this seat has not been announced yet. There is a discussion that BJP can field Aparna Yadav, a member of his family, against Akhilesh.
