At the same time, there was no attempt to persuade Sanjay Negi, who was rebelling from the Congress and contesting as an independent in Ramnagar. Sanjay Negi in Ramnagar and Harish Paneru in Kichha seat have been in the fray since their nominations. While from Sitarganj seat, Narayan Pal has enrolled on a BSP ticket.
