Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Congress made the issue of unemployed pharmacists included in the pledge – 21000 unemployed pharmacists expressed their gratitude to Congress

It is worth noting that after a 135-day agitation by the Unemployed Diploma Allopathic Pharmacist Federation, the effigy of the BJP government was burnt and the Congress party was assured full support in the 2022 elections. The Congress party had also assured 21000 unemployed pharmacists that pharmacists would be given preference in their manifesto and the government would take positive steps on their demands on priority basis if formed.

Today, the party’s manifesto was released by National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, in which the demands of the pharmacist have been placed prominently. After 21 years of the formation of the state, the Federation President Mahadev Gaur has expressed his gratitude to the top leadership of the Congress party for the pharmacist case in the manifesto of any national party. It was said by him that in the past also the government of Congress party had given respect to pharmacists with employment.

The Chairman said that the present government had done a great injustice to the unemployed pharmacists and public health was also ignored. This government has played with the future of unemployed pharmacists by abolishing only 536 posts created instead of providing employment, for which the government will have to bear the brunt in this election. He expressed hope that the Congress party will do justice to them when the government is formed and to restore the health system in remote rural areas, the BJP government should declare them dead, while reviving 536 posts, unemployed by creating the post of pharmacist at all health and wellness centers. Pharmacist’s dreams will come true.
