Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Bihari Mahasabha will hold grand Saraswati worship ceremony in Dehradun on the day of Basant Panchami on February 5, BMS has issued a new working committee for worship.
Like every year, Bihari Mahasabha will organize Saraswati Puja this year too. In a meeting of Bihari Mahasabha, it was decided that in view of Kovid, this year also the form of worship will be changed like last year, the number of worship will be limited and open prasad will not be distributed. Bhandara will also be limited apart from this no cultural programs will be presented. The Corona guidelines of the Government of Uttarakhand and the Government of India will be followed to the letter, keeping in mind all these conditions, the Bihari Mahasabha will organize Basant Panchami on February 5.
The fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magha month is celebrated as Basant Panchami. On this day there is a law to worship Saraswati, the goddess of learning and art. Vasantotsav begins with Basant Panchami. This spring festival lasts till Holi. This festival is also celebrated as Madonotsav. The festival begins with the Ratikam Festival. This year the festival of Basant Panchami will be celebrated on 5th February 2022.
According to the scriptures, on the day of Basant Panchami, Brahma ji also created the universe. Therefore, it is considered good to start new works from this day. Especially starting any new education, starting any new work, shaving children, Annaprashan Sanskar, home entry or any other auspicious work is considered very good.
