Uttarakhand / Dhanaulti : Rangad is getting immense public support in the battle, the tension of BJP-Congress is expected to increase further

Many rebels, who came in the independent elections, have put both the BJP and the Congress in tension by not withdrawing their names. One of these famous faces is Mahavir Singh Rangad. Due to Rangad, the political cross is at its peak these days in Dhanaulti assembly seat even in the cold weather. Mahavir Singh Rangad, who came out as an independent from Dhanaulti after being cut from BJP, has given full strength to win. The lines of concern are clearly visible in the forehead of BJP and Congress due to the public support that Rangad is getting.

Rana’s obstruction in 2017, Panwar’s screw in 2022, taking lightly the claim of former MLA and former Minister of State Mahavir Singh Rangad, the BJP high command seems to have a heavy burden for the BJP in Dhanaulti. The BJP strategists probably had a misconception that this time also they should refuse Rangad like last time, but this time it did not happen and Rangad challenged the order of the high command by announcing that he would contest as an independent. It is worth mentioning that the BJP, despite being a sitting MLA, cut the ticket of Mahavir Singh Rangad in 2017 and gave ticket to Narayan Singh Rana, a relative of its veteran national leader and Union Minister Rajnath Singh. The result was that even in the fierce Modi wave, Rana was defeated in Dhanaulti and independent Pritam Singh Panwar was successful in winning. After four and a half years of legislature, Pritam had realized that this time going to the independent election season could prove to be a loss deal for him, in such a situation, he started setting pieces to join the BJP. Pritam knew very well that if he tried to join the BJP here, the opposition of all the ticket contenders including Rangad could spoil his game, so cleverly Panwar entered the BJP house through a safe entrance via Delhi.

Rangad got into the battle after becoming a rebel

In the ticket claim, Rangad had hoped till the last minute that he would get preference over Pritam in comparison to the ticket, but it did not happen, the party considered it appropriate to give priority to Panwar in the ticket, but the party’s big face rejected his claim. He did not accept by bowing his head, but strongly opposed this decision. According to the expectations, Mahavir Singh Rangad filled the form of independent candidate from Dhanaulti against party candidate Pritam Panwar, all efforts to convince him failed, Rangad refused to leave the battle by not withdrawing his name. As a result the party split into two parts and words like real BJP and fake BJP also became very popular in Dhanaulti these days. Mahavir Rangad has been associated with the Sangh for a long time and has been serving in the BJP for almost 22 years, while Pritam Panwar has recently become a BJP worker. Even though he has been successful in getting a BJP ticket, his supporters are not ready to accept him as a real BJP man. That is why the noise of real versus fake is being heard in Dhanaulti, whether it is Nain Bagh or Thatyud or Tholdhar, wherever political discussions take place, the talk of real BJP versus fake BJP is also heard loudly.

Rangad in the Rann, triangular contest in Dhanaulti

Due to ticket cut, people’s sympathy is being seen towards Rangad, angry with being cut twice, Rangad alleges that by doing so, he has hatched a conspiracy to kill his political life, which he will not allow to succeed. Coming into the independent election, Mahavir Rangad has made Dhanaulti’s contest not only interesting but also triangular.

Will the BJP ignore Dhanaulti’s earth-holding?

Rangad is considered a leader with a strong mass base in Dhanaulti and he has proved this many times in 2012 and he has also been successful in winning the Dhanaulti seat at that time, the political pitch of Rangad Dhanaulti. They are considered to be big players and they also have a strong hold among the people. People from Jaunpur to Tholdhar, Saklana are already connected to them and this is clearly visible now. Know why BJP has chosen to take a trouble for itself in Dhanaulti by taking his ticket claim lightly. Rangad claims that Dhanaulti is going to repeat the history of 2012 this time, the only difference will be that this time he will win as an independent candidate. According to Rangad, he did not get the party ticket, it does not matter, this time the people of Dhanaulti have made him their candidate, he has entered the fray on the ticket of the people, the decision of the public is the biggest decision in a democracy, that’s why he He has gone to the public court seeking justice.

One thing has become clear in Dhanaulti as a big challenge in front of two national parties. Wherever he is going to campaign for his election, the crowd is automatically rising and this is enough to prove his popularity among the people. There is still some time left in the voting, so all the candidates will try their best to create an atmosphere in their favor, there is no doubt about it, the final decision is to be taken by the public, but looking at the current environment, it seems that stopping the ranga is for both the parties. It is not easy at all.
