He further said, “I would like to clarify that this photo (in which Ganguly, Jay Shah, captain Virat Kohli and joint secretary Jayesh George are seated) was not from the selection committee meeting. Jayesh George is not a part of the selection committee. I have played 424 international matches for India. It’s not a bad idea to get this to people occasionally. (laughs)”
Sourav Ganguly has given his opinion on the relationship with Jay Shah in BCCI in the last 26 months. Ganguly said, “I have a wonderful relationship with Jai. He is a good friend and a trusted ally. Me, Jai, Arun (Dhumal) and Jayesh (George) we have been working together in these two years to take the Board forward, especially during the difficult times of COVID-19. Cricket should be played to ensure this. I would say these two years have been wonderful. We have done this as a team.
