Uttarakhand : BJP had to take this step after giving up, MLA Rajkumar Thukral and former MLA including six expelled from BJP

The BJP has expelled six rebels fighting for anti-party activities and against the party’s authorized candidates. These include Rajkumar Thukral, MLA from Rudrapur and Mahavir Singh Rangad, former MLA from Dhanaulti. Apart from these, Jitendra Negi from Doiwala, Dhirendra Chauhan from Kotdwar, Manoj Shah from Bhimtal and Tikaprasad Maikhuri from Karnprayag have also been expelled from the party.

Rebel workers of BJP are in the fray against the party’s authorized candidates in 14 assembly seats of the state. The number of rebels was much more than this, but the party was successful in convincing seven of its workers in Doiwala, Kaladhungi, Ghansali and Piran Kaliyar seats to get their nominations returned. Despite this, in 14 seats, the rebels are still taking the front in the field. Despite constant efforts to persuade them, when things did not work out, the party expelled six workers from the party in the first phase.

BJP media in-charge Manveer Singh Chouhan told that these six party workers have been expelled on the instructions of state president Madan Kaushik. He said that indiscipline in the party would not be tolerated.
