Chaubattakhal is a major assembly seat in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Chaubattakhal is in Pauri district and comes under Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency. Uttarakhand heavyweight leader Satpal Maharaj is the sitting MLA from Chaubattakhal. He and the state government have ministries like irrigation and tourism.
