Mukesh Ambani becomes the owner of Rolls Royce Cullinan car; Took a VIP number plate for Rs 12 lakh

Mukesh Ambani, the owner of Reliance Industries Limited, has bought the priceless and ultra-premium Rolls Royce Cullinan car. The cost of this car is Rs 13.14 crore. The petrol variant of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan car has been registered at the Tardeo Regional Transport Office (RTO) in South Mumbai on January 31.

Why is it so expensive
Launched in the year 2018, the price of this luxury SUV is Rs 6.75 crore. However, there are speculations that due to personal customization, its price may have increased. According to the report, Ambani has bought a Tuscan Sun color car in which the V12 engine is available. It generates power of 564 bhp.

VIP number taken
According to the RTO officer, a special number plate has also been taken for this car at a cost of Rs 12 lakh. The number on the car plate ends with ‘0001’. The current series has already been taken for this number, so a new series was introduced.

That’s why got expensive number plate
He said that with the written permission of the Transport Commissioner, the RTO office can start a new series for allotting the registration number 0001. For which the applicant has to pay 3 times more than the fee fixed for the regular number.

One of the most expensive cars
The registration for this luxury SUV is valid till January 30, 2037, for which a lump sum tax of Rs 20 lakh has been paid by RIL. Apart from this, another amount of Rs 40,000 has been paid for road safety tax. An RTO officer has told that this car purchase is being considered as one of the most expensive cars in the country.

Very powerful car
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is named after the largest diamond ever discovered. The premium vehicle maker claims that it is an all-terrain high bodied car, which is the most practical Rolls-Royce ever. The super-luxury SUV is powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 Rolls-Royce engine that generates 564 bhp and 850 Nm of torque with all-wheel drive and all-wheel steer system.

Ambani owns many expensive cars
This vehicle model of Rolls Royce is also with some other industrialists and Bollywood celebrities. On the other hand, many expensive vehicles are already included in the fleet of Reliance Company. The company has even given BMW cars to the policemen engaged in security outside the Ambani family’s house.
