Uttarakhand will not get relief from cold till February 7, then there is a possibility of rain and snowfall

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand till February 7. On February 6 and 8, due to the effect of another western disturbance, a change in the weather will be seen again. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of cold days at some places in Uttarakhand. There will be a yellow alert in the state for the next two-three days regarding this. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts till February 7.

The weather will remain dry over the rest of the state. At the same time, apart from rain and snowfall, there is a possibility of frost in the mountainous areas. At the same time, moderate to dense fog may remain in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar districts. Moderate snowfall may block roads in areas above 2000 meters. The district administration has been suggested to make necessary arrangements to open the snow-clad roads. People have been advised not to travel in mountainous places for the time being. Director of Meteorological Department Bikram Singh said that a Western Disturbance is active from the area adjoining North Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, a low pressure area remains over Rajasthan and its adjoining areas. After 6, on 8 February, another Western Disturbance is visible.
