Uttarakhand : The existence of SIDCUL is in danger due to the actions of the BJP government – Harish Rawat
Addressing a meeting organized by the National Mazdoor Congress (INTUC) at Motahaldu, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that the existence of SIDCUL has come under threat due to the actions of the BJP government. BJP is doing the work of selling the workers. Industrialists are going back in two-four years after taking the facilities. He said that when in the last five years there were only BJP MLAs here. If any development work has been done somewhere, then the people here should tell. This exposed the failure of the government. If the BJP government had done development work, it would not have cut the ticket of its MLA. Ramesh Joshi conducted the meeting.
Former minister Harish Durgapal, senior Congress leader Harendra Bora, INTUC national general secretary Lavi Chilwal, Rajendra Khanwal, Nandkishore Kapil, block chief Rupa Devi, Hukum Singh Kunwar, Deep Pathak, Kedar Paldia etc. were present in the program. Apart from this, Rawat appealed to vote in favor of Congress by doing public relations in areas like Dumka Bangar Bachidharma, Devrampur, Himmatpur Chaumwal, Kishanpur Sakuliya etc.
