Congress manifesto for UP elections, farm loan waiver in 10 days, promise to buy cow dung

After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP), now the Congress has also released the manifesto before the first phase of voting in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi released the manifesto titled ‘Unnati Vidhan’ on Wednesday.

Priyanka Gandhi said that we have done a lot of work on the biggest issue of unemployment and inflation. Priyanka said that the entire loan of farmers would be waived off within 10 days. Rs 2500 quintal paddy-wheat will be procured and sugarcane price will be Rs 400 quintal. Electricity bill will be halved, arrears will be waived. Will give 20 lakh government jobs.

Priyanka Gandhi said that if the Congress government is formed in UP, then the families who have been financially hit by Corona will be given 25 thousand rupees. 12 lakh vacant posts will be filled and 8 lakh new posts will be created. 40 percent will be given to women. Treatment up to Rs 10 lakh will be free.

Priyanka said that the farmers are very upset with the left animal. It will be resolved on the Chhattisgarh model. The farmers who have suffered losses will be given Rs 3,000. ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ will be started and cow dung will be purchased at Rs.2 a kg. This scheme is going on in Chhattisgarh.

Priyanka Gandhi said that if the Congress government is formed, small businessmen will get loans at 1% interest. For workers and employees it has been proposed that outsourcing will be done. Contract and sanitation workers will be regularised.

The Congress has promised that the people living in the slums will be given the ownership rights of the land there. Affordable housing will be provided to the people. The salary of watchmen will be Rs 5000 per month. Shiksha Mitras will be regularized. Vacant posts of Sanskrit and Urdu teachers will be filled. SC and ST students will be given free education from KG to PG. Women policemen will be given posting in the home district. Priyanka Gandhi said that the cases registered against journalists in UP will be ended.
