Cow dung thrown at BJP MLA’s convoy in UP, workers also allege stone pelting

Candidates of all political parties are busy campaigning in view of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. In many places, there was opposition from some candidates. The latest case is of attack on the convoy of BJP candidate and MLA Sahendra Ramala. In Chhaprauli, Baghpat on Tuesday. BJP MLA’s convoy was allegedly attacked. BJP workers allege that cow dung was thrown at the convoy. Not only this, stones were also pelted.

BJP leaders said that a procession was being taken out in support of the BJP candidate when cow dung and cow dung cakes were thrown at the vehicles.

It is alleged that the convoy of BJP candidate was pelted with stones. Not only this, when the convoy reached near the RLD office, the RLD workers protested by waving the flag, which led to a dispute between the two sides.

Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. SHO Vinod Kumar has confirmed the incident but said that he is yet to receive the detailed report. The SHO said that the culprits would be identified on the basis of the photography done by the police and strict action would be taken against them.
