Haryana / Gurugram : 7 floors of 22-storey building sank into the ground, four families feared trapped in the accident

Two laborers were killed and four families are still feared trapped when a 22-storey apartment under construction on Gurugram’s Dwarka Expressway rammed into the ground. There are also reports of several people getting injured. Rescue and relief teams have reached the spot. The work of evacuating the people trapped in the debris is going on. The construction work was going on in the sixth floor of a building in the part. This apartment named Chintels Paradise is located in Sector 109, Gurugram.

SDRF team has reached the spot. It is being told that this family had gone out, which has returned only today. The husband and wife were sitting in the drawing room, while the woman’s sister had gone to the washroom. The person buried in the rubble is currently working as an officer in the PMO. According to the information received, a part of the roof of the sixth floor of the 22-storey building in the Chintel Paradiso housing complex collapsed and then due to its debris, the roofs of several floors kept falling apart. After the accident, massive rescue and relief work has been started. NDRF and SDRF teams have also reached the spot.

Terming the incident as unfortunate, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the administrative officials along with SDRF and NDRF teams are carrying out rescue and relief work. I am personally monitoring the situation and pray for everyone’s safety.
