Uttar Pradesh : Owaisi said – wearing hijab and burqa is our fundamental right, no one’s bullying will work

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted the BJP fiercely during the election campaign in Bareilly’s Bithri assembly. In an election rally in Bithri Chainpur on Thursday, Owaisi attacked the BJP over the controversy surrounding hijab in schools in Karnataka and said that the central government is giving the slogan of Beti Padhao, girls are being stopped from hijab. He targeted Akhilesh Yadav, said he kept taking votes by intimidating Muslims in the name of BJP.
Owaisi came to Byroad from Moradabad to hold a public meeting in Bareilly’s Bithri assembly. From the stage, he said that on the 14th day you go to the polling booth, our mothers and sisters, who wear hijab, should also wear hijab and vote. He said that wearing hijab and burqa is our fundamental right. No one will be bullied on this. Look at those hijabi girls of Karnataka who are raising slogans and words in front of the enemy, who believe in bullets and not ballots. During this, he took a dig at the ruling party.
Owaisi said, wearing hijab and burqa is our fundamental right. No one should mind what I wear, what I eat. He said that you should worry about your home, do not worry about us. My beard, my cap, my burqa, why are you worried. While walking, he said that now I am going from Bareilly to By Road Sambhal. If there is a devil, get in the way of me.
