Voting is going on today in 40 seats of Goa, the smallest state of the country. Polling is to be held in a single phase in the state. Polling for this has started from 7 am. In the first two hours i.e. till 9 am, there was 11.04% voting in Goa. By 11 am, this figure increased to 26.63%. At the same time, by 1 pm, this figure increased to 44.63%.

We had demanded from BJP to give ticket to Utpal. Our brother did sacrificial, BJP did not appreciate him. The party did it wrong by not giving ticket to Utpal. BJP will have to bear the brunt of this.
The effect of not giving ticket to Utkal will be seen in the whole of Goa

BJP gave tickets to corrupt leaders from Congress
Lata Prakash said, ‘After the departure of the brother, there is no right BJP left. The present leadership of the party is not correct. BJP gave tickets to corrupt Congress leaders. No one will form the government here. Mix government will come. The fate of 301 candidates is at stake in 40 seats in Goa. Of these, BJP has 40, Congress 37, AAP 39, TMC 26, MGP 13 and 68 Independents. A total of 11.56 lakh voters of the state will decide their fate today.
Utkal was seen avoiding speaking against BJP
Here, former Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s son Utpal casts his vote in Panaji. He is contesting from this seat. When Dainik Bhaskar spoke to him, Utpal expressed confidence of his victory, but when he was asked questions on his opposition to the BJP, he kept quiet. It is believed that by opposing the BJP, he does not want to destroy the sympathy vote that he got after the death of his father. At the same time, they also want to keep the doors of possibilities open after the elections.

Goa is known as the chicken that lays golden eggs
The BJP, which has been in power in the state for the last two times, does not want to let Goa get out of hand under any circumstances. This state adjacent to the beach is called the golden egg-laying hen, because there is a port, through which millions of crores of business is done. Big industrialists have made huge investments here. Goa is one of the most famous tourist destination in the country. It also contributes a lot to the economy of the state.
Traders also keep an eye on the election
Kishore Naik Gaonkar, a senior journalist from Goa, says, “A lot of big businessmen are eager to form the BJP government in Goa, as they need full help from Goa Port for their business.” These are some of the factors that pull every party to Goa. However, the main contest in Goa is between the Congress and the BJP. Let’s take a look at their political equations.
This time the Congress was far behind the BJP in terms of publicity, but is looking ahead on the ground. There are three big factors to this:
▪️First, the old leaders themselves have been out of the party, due to which the party was able to give tickets to new faces.
▪️Second, Congress did not give tickets to the manipulative leaders, due to which the image of the party in public has been improved.
▪️Third, there is anti-incumbency against the government, which seems to be benefiting the Congress.
