Night curfew ends in UP, schools and colleges will open with full capacity, order issued

For the prevention of corona infection, the curfew implemented from 11 pm to 6 am has been abolished. This decision has been taken in view of the effective reduction in the rate of corona infection. The order related to this has become effective from Saturday (February 19).
Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi issued the order on Saturday. Earlier, by the order issued on February 13, the government had changed the timing of night curfew. With this order, at present, the corona curfew was in force from 11 pm to 5 am, whereas earlier this time limit was from 10 pm to 6 am. After the election campaign was extended till 10 pm, the government had extended the night curfew from 11 pm onwards. With the latest order, the curfew has been completely abolished. Now only the general guide line issued to protect against corona will have to be followed. Under this, masks will have to be worn in public places. Similarly, Kovid help desk will have to be maintained in the institutions. Schools, colleges and all other types of institutions are now running with full capacity as before.
